Excellent!
I’ve had this machine for over a year and it is great! I’ve not had any issues other than my own errors! It’s important to not overfill the shot cups and to keep the area clean where the water pours into the shot cups. The machine will let you know if something is amiss and it’s always been an easy fix! It makes quite a rumble as the coffee pours out, but it’s quick. It vibrates, so I hold on to the cup while the coffee is pouring. I am very happy with this espresso machine!

Best espresso I had here in US
I love good coffee, I tried so many ways. I purchased Illy coffee or Lavazza and I have my own coffee the best. I even make when I go away from home for a day, I know there is absolutely no espresso out there to beat this. The price is ridiculous for the quality of the coffee is making. I purchased this machine in Oct 2023 and still running like the first day. I tried with already ground coffee and I used my machine to grind it myself , all are great. I might buy the dark blue one since when I purchased they offered stainless steel and cream. I love small appliances various colors, makes the kitchen a happy place and appetizing !

You don’t need a $500 machine to make espresso
This is my first espresso machine and I love it so much. I got it as a gift for my BF, who has had very expensive machines in the past, but we don’t have an extra $500 to spend on espresso right now. The machine is easy to use and I’ve been getting nice creama with the double shots I’ve been making. I did buy a separate tamper because the one that comes with the machine is plastic. It’s a little noisy and the glass sometimes shakes from the machines vibration but I’m saving money with my little in home coffee shop.

Best espresso I had in a long time.
I want to rectify my previous review on Casa Brew espresso machine.First of all Casa Brew has the best customer service I ever had the pleasure to deal with. After reading my review they immediately offered a refund or replacement. The replacement arrived in the blink of an eye and yes I was to hasty grading the machine.Mine was definitely defective and wouldn’t reach the optimal temperature. The new replacement works like a charm and made a delicious hot espresso. I am very satisfied.Thank you Casa Brew!

Great espresso maker, super easy an intuitive to use. Wand is a little hard to clean
Machine is easy to use and it makes great lattes. The wand is hard to clean. We had to use lemon juice on it and watch some youtube videos. Now I keep a damp paper towel near the frother wand to clean it off after each use. took me a while to figure it out.

Nice espresso maker
I will start with saying I am not a coffee snob. It makes delicious espresso and is relatively easy to do. It is a little loud while brewing – there is a metal splash tray that rattles/vibrates, which is a annoying since I am using it while everyone else is asleep.

Good Deal 🎊
I’m using this affordable great machine everyday for 2 months and it’s a good investment, make a great tasty smelly coffee and I use regular milk for the froth, a little bit of cacao chocolate and a small spoon of sweetness milkAnd it’s a great morning and afternoon coffee,Good deal !

This Espresso machine lives up to the claim.
I’m happy with this machine. I used to wake up and make a full french press of coffee and drink it all. Now, I make one double of this, add my creamer and some water to get one full cup of coffee. That is enough for the day.I use Espresso beans. After trying some regular coffee beans, I see that you really won’t be happy with them. So now, I look for the taste I like best while trying brands.

Great little workhorse
I’ve been using this machine two-to-three times a day for the last four months and it’s a great little workhorse of a machine. I’m not barista and wanted something simple for basic espresso – this machine is a perfect match for that. Admittedly, I don’t use the steamer so I can’t comment on that much. But so far this thing has been great, and it’s very good for my tiny apartment kitchen – it takes up about the same space as a basic toaster. The taste is great – of course it matters more about the beans you use. Heat of the coffee is good, especially if you make a single and a single back to back. Cleaning is easy, simple.

An extremely speedy delivery, I am looking forward to trying it out on some fresh 100% Kona Beans
Product arrived VERY QUICKLY! (Albeit covered in drops of water…) We live in Hawaii, and my wife and I are thrilled that we didn’t even have time to go buy some fresh roasted beans before this puppy arrived. All we had on hand today was some 10% Kona pre-ground from Costco. I’ve gotta say, considering the poor quality of beans I just put into it, that this is actually a pretty decent shot of espresso, though i had to regrind the already ground beans to ‘wake up’ the oils.. I absolutely cannot wait to try some frothy 100% Kona and 100% Ka’u espresso shots side-by-side out of this thing. It says to return it if there are signs of it being pre-used or unclean…not sure if a layer of water drops counts, so we decided to use it. I will update this post if any problems arise, but I am thrilled about it right now.

Great machine and a very nice price, and basically waste free.
I’ve been wanting an espresso machine for a number of years but just could not justify the price.I saw this one at a very good price with many great reviews so I thought it worth it to finally get one.I downloaded the manual from the manufacturer’s site and read it before the machine came in.On my first go-through, I made a couple of minor mistakes like forgetting to preheat the head, etc.But on the second go-round, I had it figured out and it worked great. My Method:1. Turn on the machine to let it start warming up2. Pour about 4-5 ounces of milk into the frothing cup3 Remove the portafilter and pop out the brewing filter.4. Put the portafilter (less the brewing filter) back onto the machine along with yourdrinking cup and press the 2-cup button to preheat the head and the drinking cup.5. While the machine is warming up the head and yourdrinking cup fill and tamp the brewing filter with your coffee.6. Once the machine has cycled (from step 4), remove the portafilter, put thebrewing filter into it (with the filter filled and tamped) and reinstall into the machine.7. Dump the water out of your drinking cup (from step 4), place it under the portafilter, and press the 1 or 2-cup button to make your espresso into your drinking cup.8. Once the espresso is made, remove your drinking cup and press the steam button.9. When the Steam is ready (solid light) take a spare cup, place it under the steamer wandand turn the steam knob on to purge any water from the steam wand, then close the Knob.10. Put the frothing cup (with milk in it) under the steam wand and turn theknob to froth your milk, once the milk is frothed, turn the knob off again.11. Pour the frothed milk into your drinking cup. There may be a better way but for me, this worked out well. When I’m done with my drink I comeback and rinse out everything with hot water and wipe it down so I’m ready for the next time. One unexpected benefit I realized is that There are no filter pods or filter paper etc, to dispose of.The coffee grounds themselves can be composted or put in the garbage disposal to freshen it.So in the end the whole thing is basically waste-free (so less trash for me to need to take out).

brews a consistent expresso, is space saving and easy to use
I have had this machine for about a week and overall I am pleased. I wanted an expresso machine that did not take up too much counter space and was easy to use. So far it has met my expectations on those two points. As far as the quality of the expresso I would have to say, it’s adequate. Casabrew claims this is a 20 bar machine. However, even though there is a gauge on the front, it is not marked to indictate bar levels. In my opinión this machine does not reach 20 bars but without markings on the gauge it can’t be proven. Overall I am still glad I bought it. I anticipate upgrading at some point in the future.

Solid Machine and Budget Friendly
I’ve been using this machine for almost five months now and it has worked out pretty well. I had to replace a De Longhi machine that died after 6 years of daily use. I ordered another De Longhi and got a machine that didn’t work so took a chance on this machine. It didn’t take me long to figure out that you extract the coffee first, then froth the milk. This machine performs well for the relatively low price. My only complaint is with the portafilters. These are usually made by drawing sheet steel over a die and pressing the inner form to make a drawn cup. There is minimal draft angle on the side wall of the filter, so the spent coffee grounds are well captivated. Forget about using a knock box with these portafilters. I usually have to dig the grounds out with a spoon; hence, four out of five stars. Still not a deal breaker though.

Love this machine
This machine is a 1oz or 2oz shot espresso. I love it. My daily cappuccino use a 2oz espresso shot so this is perfect. It takes about 30 second to brew. It has a water tank which is great. I saw negative reviews on how small the coffee amount is. This is an espresso machine not a coffee pot so….. there are larger machines that can provide larger amounts however; this is not it. It works perfect for 1-2 people. I’m in love with this machine. I pray it last. As long as it last at least 1 year. I will be buying it again if/when needed. I lived in Italy for 3 years and this reminds me of the cappuccino in Italy. I use the Italian Illy coffee. After each use, I clean up under where the coffee filter hooks onto the machine, and rinse out the filter. I have not used the frother wand, I have a separate frother that I love, it’s to the right in the pictures. Clean up is easier than my moka pots. Great for the price, $125. Definitely recommend

Works well, does a good job making coffee drinks.
It took a few tries to get it right, but once I figured it out it works well. What is is: a decent home- use coffee machine; good for one or two cups of cappuccino / espresso. The small footprint fits on the counter without taking up a lot of space. Big plus! What it is not; not good for more than one or two cups in rapid succession, needs some cool down time after using the steamer wand.Overall, it is a good value, I’ll give it four stars..

Love it!
It took me a while to finally decide on this machine because some of the reviews on here say that the espresso does not come out hot enough and this is the main issue I had with my previous budget friendly machine. I have had this machine for a month and I can honestly say it DOES come out super hot and it does have steps in the instructions of things you can do to preheat the device if you want it scolding hot. I am super happy with it, I usually brew cuban coffee in a moka pot or bustelo and I wanted something stronger and these shots are delicious and great consistency. I have steamed milk with it and make iced lattes all the time and it tastes great. I am not an expert in coffee and I’m sure there are machines out there that are more expensive and people prefer them but in my opinion this one is great.

It is great, but a little more access for cleaning would make it perfection.
I really really like the machine. I drink about 6 shots a day. That’s extremely expensive if you’re not making it yourself. Like $15 a day unless you’re just getting the shots. Since I do make 3 double shots, if not more for guests, every single day, it does needs cleaned daily. It’s typically a standard within coffee shops to fully clean, with soap, the portafilter and filter basket every half hour. And to clean the group head at the end of every day, or if its especially busy, every 4 hours. I had to purchase a small screw driver so that I could just keep it with the coffee machine because the group head has a Philips head screw in it that has to be taken out to be cleaned. But from there I’m a little nervous to tackle the cleaning because there are no clear instructions on how to do so. This will inevitably make your coffee more and more bitter as time goes on. You’ll try new brands, you’ll clean every nook and cranny you can get too. But the coffee will continue to taste more bitter than usual, because there are old oils being extracted off of the group head. So far mine has not reached that stage, but I do regularly clean as much of it as I can. I think it should come with a small screw driver, a replacement screw, and advice on cleaning the group head attachment. Because it is an attachment, not a part of the machine it self.

Good customer service
After using the product for a couple of weeks and learning how to make lattes, I was saddened to see the machine reporting an alarm. The user manual said it could be the flow control switch. I contacted customer service and received an immediate reply. The customer service rep also asked if I could confirm that the steamer valve was in the closed position. I turns out that was actually the problem. It was operator error. The machine comes with a 12 month warranty. Fortunately, I didn’t have to use that plan, and I’m back to enjoying home made lattes. Thanks customer service!

LOVED THIS MACHINE AT FIRST BUT SLOWED DOWN 6 MONTHS LATER 🙁
I have loved this product for the last 6 months. It has made mornings so much easier and makes the best espresso. Super quick and easy to function. However, after about 6 months of use, it randomly started taking 10 minutes or more to heat. Initially, it heated up in less than a minute. I am not sure what happened. I am still using for the time being until a new one I have ordered comes in the mail. Like I said, makes amazing coffee. No need to get Starbucks anymore. I just wish it was just as efficient 6 months later.

So far, I’ve enjoyed using this device to make my morning lattes, and it works satisfactorily. Have never used others, so can’t compare. I really like the narrow profile as I have very limited counter space.

Good little unit
Let’s start with the fact that this is my first espresso machine. I have owned this for a few months and use it every day. I became tired of buying my caramel mocha for 7 bucks. There is a small learning curve. First, after turning the power on and waiting for the lights to stop blinking, run the Porta filter empty on the two cup setting to get it hot. I put my Caramel and cocoa powder in a small cup before the espresso is added. Put hot water in your mug and dump before putting in the milk and espresso, this preheats your travel mug. The steamer works great. I purchased a stainless milk frother 20 oz. I put 16 ounces of cold milk in. It has graduation marks inside the container. I let the steam run into a towel till the liquid water is gone and only steam is coming out before putting the wand in the milk. This only takes a few seconds. I run the steamer until the auto shutoff happens. I didn’t see in the instructions about the steamer shutting off automatically ,I discovered it by accident. It works perfect every time. I usually use the 2 cup setting with the two cup strainer and when that’s done I hit the 1 cup. I’m a teacher, lol, need the caffeine. I recommend strongly reading the instructions carefully so you are not disapointed. I get a nice hot Carmel mocha every time. I timed the entire process from turning the unit on to cleaning up when done and it took 11 min. Hope this helps someone.

I have had this unit for about 6 months when it stopped steaming milk. It just kinda made a ‘puh puh’ sound and no more steam. Contacted Casabrews customer service and after a little back and forth they promptly sent out a new unit with no hassle. Much appreciated. Before the problem was really happy with the quality of espresso that the machine produced and it steamed milk really well. Now back in business.

Starbucks lost a customer
My wife and I have a bad cappuccino habit. Started while on a visit to Italy. Continued when we returned home. Gets expensive to buy two a day from a coffee bar. This machine came highly recommended. For once the recommendations were on the money. It makes good cappuccino, is modestly priced and after some trial and error makes cappuccino as good as most coffee bars. Instructions that come with the machine are clear and have pictures to make the procedure clear. Just follow the instructions. Bought three essential tools to go with the machine. A good heavy weight, aluminum tamper. The plastic one that comes with the machine is wimpy. Here it is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09H24D5YQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Also got a stainless steel frothing pitcher to use in steaming milk. Better than anything you have at home. Here it is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KFYXTRR?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Lastly, bought a coffee canister designed to keep ground coffee fresh. Works well. Here it is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01H38T264/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Making the perfect cup of cappuccino is by trial and error. Took me about ten tries. First, get the right espresso coffee. Tried some Italian versions. Not so good. Settled on Starbucks espresso, dark roast. Not ground to a powder like some espresso coffee, but works well in this machine. I’m too lazy to grind my own beans. Next, the right milk. Many coffee bars use one percent milk. We found it too watery. Changed to whole milk and that works fine. The amount of frothed milk you add to the espresso affects the strength of the taste. I suggest you don’t add all the frothed milk in the pitcher to the top of the espresso cup all at once. Try 3/4 full. Probably too strong. Then keep adding the frothed milk in increments until you find the right amount of frothed milk that satisfies your taste. You don’t have to buy this. But you need two cups. Any cup to capture the steam coming from the machine and a 12 ounce cup for the espresso/cappuccino. The 12 ounce cup has to be wide and not high so it will fit under the spouts where the espresso comes out. Tip. Turning the handle while on the machine was hard. A tiny drop of vegetable oil on your finger tip, rubbed on the edge of the cup containing the coffee, before inserting it into the machine, makes the handle turn easily. Doesn’t effect the taste. Just use a tiny smear. All in all, this is a great buy. The machine makes 12 ounces of fine cappuccino in the convenience of your own home. I timed the process. Took me 15 minutes total in preparation, making the cappuccino, and cleaning up. A bright spot in our daily routine.

Making my own Cappuccino
I’m excited to make myself a cup of cappuccino every day since I first got it 2days ago. I’m not a barista so I’m learning on how to make one. The machine is a bit loud but as per the manual, it would be a lot quiet as I keep on using it (finger crossed). It is user friendly, slim to fit my small counter space, and look very pretty (I paid extra to get the navy color). Everything is working good and so far, there is no leak or issue. For me, this is a good brand for a home use expresso machine. I highly recommend. My coffee couldnt be more tasty!

Great budget buy
I never leave reviews but finding a decent espresso machine took a significant amount of leg work so I figure this may help a person or two. I’ve owned this for ~2 months now and can confidently leave a review for everything except durability (will check back in around 6mo). In short, this is a great machine to purchase on a budget and I recommend it for those who are looking for an easy way to make decent espresso/lattes at home without needing a ton of counter space. With only 4 buttons and a lever for the froth, it’s really straightforward and quick to use. I’m satisfied with my lattes every single morning and have saved a ton of money just by introducing this machine into my routine. With that being said, there are quirks with this machine and some trial and error is to be expected when brewing for the first few times especially if it’s your first time making espresso. The first quirk is that shots will come out lukewarm (and not tasting the best) if you don’t give ample time for the machine to heat up. Reviews mentioning this are 100% true. I usually give this thing ~5 min to heat up and that’s enough time for me. Next, if you use the frothing wand prior to pulling a shot, the machine will over pressure, the fix is super easy so just avoid making that mistake during an early morning brain fog as it will cost you time. You also can’t froth while pulling a shot which makes sense for such a simple machine but that’s really the only thing I wish was different. Overall, owning this is a million times more enjoyable than spending $6-7 on a latte that may or may not meet your expectations at a coffee shop. At this point, I’m very satisfied with this machine and don’t see a good reason to “upgrade” to a more expensive machine. Only the test of time will dictate this.

Easy to use
So far we love it as someone who has never made espresso before it is easy to use! One thing to note is it is difficult to lock the portafilter the first few times but it does become easier with use! It is also easy to clean and makes a wonderful shot of espresso. Haven’t had it long enough to know how durable it is but I will update with any concerns if they arise.

Good espresso but difficult to use
The espresso I made this morning was delicious, but it was difficult for me to use this machine. Loading it was awkward because my hands are older and the body of the machine is light and doesn’t stay stationary….slides around, and loading the basket into place was so STIFF. I had to pick up the machine and wrap my arm around it, which is definitely a problem, since it’s hot. I’m sorry to say that I wouldn’t buy this again and may have to return it. Update: After a week of use It’s much easier to load, and I’m happy with this machine and will keep it.

Good machine for the money
For a sub $200 espresso machine this will not disappoint. We have owned ECM, Ranchiilos and other much more expensive machines and this make a good shot of espresso. Its super easy to use the 1 shot and 2 shot presets are well dialed in.I have three complaints.First is the super cheapy and light portafilter. The narrow and deep shape make it very difficult to extract the puck. plus the narrow mouth is too narrow for any of my tampers. and the tamper/scoop that come with it is flimsy.Second is the steamer decibels, it frickn’ loud. it leaves my ears ringing after a single use, the cat goes running and my kids pug their ears, its ridiculous.Third is the shape of the water tank, it’s long and narrow and awkward. a more round or square shape would be more used friendly. if removing from the machine to fill at the faucet it fine. but I like to just dump in the necessary amount of water using a glass its easy to spill. Minor gripe but could have been easily fixed in R&D.

After my automatic espresso maker by DeLonghi
I had to go back to Old School make your own espresso to get that flavor one thing I hate is I don’t like plastic in my expresso and the automatic one and or even this one I’ll have plastic in the basket I don’t like that I’m trying to avoid microplastics if you don’t know what they are look them up pretty nasty stuff really screws up our endocrine systems and might be making people fat without their knowledge they’re everywhere and I’m trying to eliminate them as much as possible so I bought this not knowing if I could eliminate it but at least I can make some better taste and espresso and then I lucked out find out about this basket on here and I’ll probably be making a picture soon I’ll link everything up but it’s all stainless steel and so far I mean there’s been a couple cups I made that I’m pretty impressed with I’m not saying it’s repeatable and I understand exactly what to do cuz and grind qualities and packing it in and I don’t know exactly how much beans and I don’t put exact amount of beans into a cup that I don’t know it gets complicated some people do I understand how anyone lives like that I have one big grinder and I just grind into and I grabbed what I need I’m not going to live in that world where I just add so many beans and all that stuff that just sounds very very tedious to me but anyways so far solid unit I wouldn’t mind us on in the second one just in case just cuz I like it so much and I have a feeling it’s one of those machines that you’ll fall in love with and one day it ever breaks you’ll really be sad that you didn’t get a second one but then I want to buy second one cuz then I don’t want that one to break on me when I use it because I didn’t use it for years so I just bought the warranty and I just hope this one sticks around I do recommend Casa Brews and get that upgraded all stainless steel basket and sooner or later I will have a page where you can see all my recommendations and other things that I added to make this great

Excellent, particularly at this price point
This is my second home espresso machine. The first was an affordable De Longhi that lasted 2 years, and the espresso was decent, but not excellent. When the espresso started having an odd after taste, I decided to ditch that machine and purchase a new one. I looked at machines that were over $1500 all the way down to this affordable $150 machine. I love good espresso, but don’t want to spend several weeks tweaking my technique to draw the perfect shot. This machine has been fantastic. Much more consistent than my last machine, and the milk frother is ridiculously good for such an affordable machine. Takes me about 5 minutes to make and excellent cappuccino (including the minimal clean up). Have had it a month, and it has nearly paid for itself already. I can’t speak to durability, but honestly, it would be a bargain if I had to buy one every 6 months as opposed to going to the local coffee bar. Simple to use, consistent shots, excellent frother. Considering buying one as a back up in case the company stops making it.

If you espresso, not a hobby
Look, I know there are folks out here for whom coffee is a sacred thing, the brewing of which is agonized over and judged to professional standards. I am not that person. My wife and I share a latte just about every afternoon. I hope you are sitting down, but we use ground espresso from the supermarket! Blasphemous, I know. We started with a yard sale espresso machine that was so old it was no longer listed in the manufacturer’s on line discontinued product archive. It finally went hooves up and had to be replaced. This unit seemed to fit the bill — powerful enough (certainly more powerful than our old unit), it’s got a steaming wand, it’s compact, and easy to use. It is a great machine for us. If you want a decent espresso the preparation of which is not a part-time job, this machine may be right for you.

Compact size. Nice brew.
Come with good instructions. Making a expresso is easy. The portfilter can hold 14grams instead of 18 gram from a professional series. Not that it’s all bad, the amount of water is still right and u get a strong coffee. The steam wand is alittle tab short. And there is a sequence to use BTW steam wand and making a brew… it start blinking if u didn’t read the instructions properly

Great espresso, amazing company
I got this after careful research and couldn’t be happier with how easy it was to switch from coffee to espresso. The machine is simple to use and makes great drinks and when I was having difficulty with a function it turned out it was slightly defective(the gauge didn’t work), not only did casabrews replace it but their customer service was incredible. Can’t say enough good things all around.

Works great real cappuccino at home
I love this machine so does my husband. I can make authentic cappuccino and americanos at home using our special low acid Sumatra organic decaf we get by subscription. We use it in the morning our caffeine fix Americanos too with organic coffee. No more 5 dollar fixes out with coffee that is still full of pesticides. Yay. The is a good machine for the money. Very pretty in ivory on the counter. Easy to clean and operate.

Fantastic espresso, LOUD, the rest is meh
My previous espresso maker (Frosstv) just bit the dust after only a year. I was so sad to have to buy another one. The reviews are also mixed, but I gave this one a shot. It makes by far the best espresso of any of the machines I’ve tried. The crema is crazy thick! And it tastes delicious. My complaints are these:1) The milk steamer is incredibly loud. First thing in the morning it is so obnoxious. I really despise steaming the milk.2) My last machine had a timer for the steamer to know when it’s hot enough. I miss that feature. I have to guess in the milk temp or else I’ll have to buy a thermometer.3) The button labels are tiny and hard to read, and the lights behind the buttons aren’t terribly bright, so it’s difficult to tell if it’s flashing/heating up or ready.4) The water tank is small so it has to be refilled a lot and for some dumb reason the made the tank a dark opaque plastic so you have to stick you face up to it to see the water level. There’s also nothing to alert you that the water is low like my Keurig, so it just stops mid pull if it runs out.Honestly, the only thing I love is the espresso itself. I will probably try another brand before committing to this one because it’s just not wowing me.

Great Machine for the Price
Love this espresso machine. I am still trying to figure out a few things on how to perfect my espresso. The machine itself was a great price. Very easy to use and does not take too long to brew.

Great espresso machine, frother average
Really enjoy my espresso machine. The frother is not the greatest if you want your milk really “frothy” regardless of the type of “milk” you use.

Great-follow the procedure
Updated 10/24 to 4 stars:5 Stars for Casabrews Customer Service and support. Received the 1st machine, had some challenges and Casabrews replaced it immediately.Good: Build and with some stainless steel parts. Has all the basics needed for a good budget semi-atuo setup with steam wand that’s a great plus. Small footprint and takes little counter space. Does what it says.Follow the steps in the manual and will give great espresso shots. If your puck comes out wet and soggy, check your grind and make sure to fill the filer till max line (10g for single) as less than a fully filled filter will give you wet soggy pucks also – ofcourse grind and tamping affect too.Minor – not so good: The machine is light but the wand/filter attachment is tight(as should be) resulting in the moving the machine and requiring holding the machine down from moving. The vibration of the pump is not too much but enough to make your cup or shot glass dance across the base – so you have to hold it in place or it’ll go right off the surface. The pressure gauge and cup warmer on the top are not perfect. The gauge doesn’t show pressure readings but just a zone where the needle should land when extracting your shot. It helps to know your process may need some tweaks if the needle is outside the ideal zone.Cup warmer area is of no use either as it will never get hot enough to warm up a cup which I think maybe due to safety reasons so someone doesn’t burn their hand. I know I would’ve if it was a hot surface while holding down the machine to attach the wand.Lastly, the tamper spoon stick is plastic and not ideal – I measure by weight so not an issue and have been tamping with it just okay, but will get a good metal tamper. After using it for a while now, I’ve realized that being a budget semi auto machine, the extraction volume is preset to 30ml for single and 60ml for double and that is the right volume range. BUT, this is extracted in approx 10secs for single and about 20 secs for double – as you know such low extraction time is not good for a shot- ideal time is 25-30 secs. The machine allows you to change the volume of extraction by increasing time(see manual) that’s not ideal as single shot in 23secs(machine won’t higher) increases the volume to 70ml and 120ml for double in 25secs. It also affects the crema IMHO.So, you’re stuck with right volume but low extraction time or right extraction time but more than double the volume.Am experimenting with finer grind and tamping to see if I can improve. I have a hand grinder and found for best results grind at No.2 and tamp it down with extra pressure. I run both single and double for about 25 secs.Lastly brew temperature – am told by the Technical/Customer support that the machine is factory set to brew/extract in the 150F-160F range, whereas the ideal temperature is 195F-205F. Sadly, you cannot change the temperature setting.Since it is a budget semiauto machine that does the basic job for me, I’ll live with it.Despite all the above quirks, it’s still worth the investment without needing to rely on expensive machines and prefilled Kcups that are exorbitant.

Good espresso but extremely noisy
I have owned a few inexpensive espresso machines over the years, and I’ve never had one that makes as much noise as this one. I don’t know if this is normal for it or if there is something wrong with it. But the coffee is quite good.

Amazing for the price! Easy to use, pulls good shots. So far I’ve used it multiple times a day for weeks and have had no issues. Clean up is also easy.

I’m not going to write you a book, but this thing is awesome.
Never brewed espresso before in my life. The first brew had very little liquid come out, tried again and same thing happened. Troubleshooting said my grinds were too small, so I played around with the grinder settings and viola. Best tasting coffee I’ve ever had. It’s not rocket science guys, don’t be intimidated like I was. It’s a great machine and won’t break the bank.

Make sure you have the correct size grind
This machine is a huge step up from my Mr Coffee machine from Walmart, just be sure to have the correct grind size or ur shot won’t pull at the right pressure. I use the yellow jar of cafe bustillo and it works perfectly! After you press the steam button the wand is gonna spit out some water before the steam starts so be sure to flush that out in a separate cup before you steam your milk. If your buttons are flashing and it won’t brew your machine got too hot and you have to let the hot water out. (Turn steam knob all the way back without selecting the steam button, that will give you hot water only)

Great value
Nice little expresso machine!Delivers high pressure for great flavor.Like the adjustable timer function with automatic brew stop. Only critique is the ground cup handle is round and tips over while filling but overall a great value!

Fantastic!
I purchased a pricier DeLonghi espresso maker a year and a half ago, and it has been nothing but frustrating since day one. I finally broke down and ordered this machine, and I am so thrilled that I did! The flavor is fantastic and the ability to adjust portion size is quite cool.I only make espresso so I cannot vouch for the steam wand.

2 Years and still working great!
Two years ago the boiler broke on my >$2000 commercial espresso machine. I bought this inexpensive machine as a stopgap until I could get the pro one repaired. Two years on and I am still using the Casabrews with no intention of repairing the old beast ($800 to repair). I have been able to pull great shots with this machine – just as good as I can with the pro machine. Anyone who says otherwise simply doesn’t know how to pull a shot correctly (correct grind, tamping pressure, etc). Furthermore, this machine heats up in less than a minute, whereas the old machine had to warm up for 15 minutes before use. Lastly, this is a very slim machine that takes up about as much counter space as a k-cup machine. The only real downside I have found to this machine is that, being a single boiler, you have to re-prime the head after steaming milk – not a huge deal but it is an extra step, and the other positives absolutely outweigh this minor niggle IMO. I have been using this machine daily for two years now, and it operates and looks like the day I bought it. At this price point, this is likely the best value “real” espresso machine you can buy. This and a good grinder and you can make espresso as good as you can buy at a coffee shop. If this breaks I will definitely order another from Casabrews.

Does the job
This makes a nice cup of espresso. Only complaint is the machine shakes so much it displaces the cup. You have to put something down on the grate with grip, otherwise the cup slides and ruins the stainless steel. Frothing milk is a bit of a nuisance but that’s just the nature of frothing milk.

Good quality for the price!
I have owned this for 9 months now and I really enjoy it!I have only run bottled water through it and I may only use it two or three times a week at most. So far, there are no malfunctions.I especially like the auto shut off, the fast water heat up process, and overall ease of use. I have not had to go back and consult the manual after the first two weeks of learning how to use it.

LOVE at first espresso machine!
Background: previous barista, daily caffeine enthusiast, accountant. After our Vertuo Nespresso machine of 6 years took a 💩, my fiance agreed we were over the pod life, but we didnt want to risk forking out the cash for a $700 machine that may or may not hold up (reviews of everything from name brand to bargain were hit or miss) We purchased this machine 3 days ago and we’re never turning back. It’s ruined me. I will now accept nothing less than pure, velvety, smooth, crema topped espresso. I’ve had at least 3 double shots each day since it arrived. I might need to go for a jog before the caffeine ejects me from my chair and into my desk of 3 work issued monitors. Paired this with the Lavazza brand espresso imported from Italy. Perfection. Read the instructions, I promise they help. It’s not just a coffee maker so it does take some understanding and patience to get it going. Highly recommend, especially if it’s on sale.Side note, it is metal so it does scratch easily and shows finger prints so be careful and clean often.I also included a photo of the recommended add on of the bottomless portafilter… although I LOVE this machine I do not recommend it as an added accessory as it did not actually fit the machine as advertised. The grooves don’t line up nicely with the machine.Anyway… The Casabrews Espresso Machine… worth it! Get it! Love it! Thanks for reading. Hope this helps someone.

Love my coffee and my coffee maker!
We ordered this machine after a lower end espresso machine we had stopped working. Now I’m glad that other machine quit working, because the Casabrews makes MUCH better espresso. It has a lot more pressure for the extraction and the difference is amazing. I love the rich layer of crema on top. When we got our machine the pressure gauge wasn’t working. I emailed support and they got back to me right away. They even sent me a new machine. The pressure gauge on the new machine works great.I like both the machine and the prompt and thorough support.
