brews nicely. nespresso is wonderful
I love the 2-in-1 set up!! I replaced my Keurig, which I loved, with this unit. The brewed coffee is better that Keurig and the extra bonus of being able to make an espresso is awesome. Also, can easily compost the coffee grounds to avoid waste AND we use compostable Nespresso pods as well since they are made for the original style pods

Best coffee machine I’ve ever had
This is the best coffee machine I’ve ever had. There are so many wonderful features and I get delicious coffee every time. Features that I’ve used so far, ability to make different amounts of coffee in coffee pot, full pot, 1/2 pot, different size single cups. Espresso shots, cappuccinos using the frother, and lungos. I haven’t used over ice feature and have only used rich coffee strength. The pods for espresso are a little expensive but compared to the work of cleaning out espresso machine every time with grindes I find it worth it. Overall can’t recommend this machine enough.

I’m loving it
So far we are loving this coffee maker. We’ve always had the Ninja brand and wanted to have an espresso machine and loved the combo. My only draw backs is the clock does not show after you’ve brewed your coffee. It just keeps the oz number on while the pot is still hot.I also wish there was a larger brew size for espresso. This coffee maker brews quickly. This machine is durable, sleek and easy to use. We have had this for months with no issues!

Amazing!!! ☕️
Being a loyal Keurig owner for over a decade, i was very hesitant in switching brands and equipment. Saying how grateful I am would be an understatement!!! This machine rocks in every aspect; coffee, espresso, lattes, milk frothing etc. Truly a 1-stop shop for all your coffee needs. Favorite features are the delayed brew and single cup option. Wife adds a double espresso to her protein shake in the morning and viola! A healthier version of a vanilla iced coffee! If you’re in the fence, trust your instincts and get this machine!!!

Great coffee maker
We’ve had this coffee maker for about three months and we are very happy with it. Produces a great cup of coffee, cappuccinos and espressos with different strength options. Easy to use and fill the water tank. We did set the unit on a lazy susan in order to easily spin it around to reach the water tank and frother. Would purchase again and highly recommend.

This is great. Saves me money when I want iced coffee or a Frap I can now make my own. Love it. 1/2 star off water tank could be on the side and I wish it had a way to make foam without using the microwave to warm up the milk. It doesn’t come out as good as my old frother did

Broken not even 6 months- UPDATE
Got this for my wife for Christmas, and everything was great for a while. I went to use the over ice function for the first time today, and it started leaking water from the the side. Now it won’t run any of the single serve options without spraying water onto the counter.UPDATE: I called Ninja support, and they are replacing the broken unit. Customer support was very thorough and helpful. We have their blender and other products with no issues so hopefully this was an isolated incident.

excellent coffee pot
I really love this coffee pot. I bought it on sale and use it almost every day. Sometimes I make lattes using the espresso pods and sometimes I make a cup of regular coffee. We use a reusable coffee filter with it. This is easily one of my best purchases.

Awesome at-home espresso machine
*NOTE: ex-Starbucks Barista here*As noted, I worked at a Starbucks for a while, and got big into espresso drinks. I no longer work there, but wanted to make more espresso drinks. I ordered this setup to brew pot coffee along with espresso. To start, the pot coffee has great taste, runs well, and is easy to clean. No complaints. Espresso, however, exceeded all expectations. It takes pods (kind of like Keurig), and it is just like in the coffeeshop. You can choose standard espresso, lungo (longer shot), or over ice shots. The taste is perfect with the Starbucks pods, and the quality is top notch.Pros: – Great quality coffee and espresso produced – Easy to clean – Plenty of options, even a frother included – Beautiful aesthetic in the kitchenCons: – Not super cheap (but much cheaper than pro grade) – Doesn’t come with a milk steamer – Can only pull 1 shot at a timeOverall, awesome machine for many needs. You get what you pay for (and more imo). The packaging is good when it arrives, and is easy to setup. 100% would buy again if ever needed.

VEry easy to use and makes great coffee.
I bought this to replace a standard Mr. Coffee coffee maker. I like the fact that you can brew an entire pot of coffee, half a pot, a travel cup, or a regular cup. My wife and I also like the fact that this thing will make espresso using the Nespresso cups, although it seems Walmart only carries Starbucks branded Nespresso cups, as does our local Kroger; however Kroger does have a few options in their Private Selection brand. Overall, this thing seems very well built, easy to use, and very economical, i.e. no need to brew more coffee than you need or want. I have not used the frothing whisk, as I don’t put milk, sugar, or any other foo-foo crap in my coffee. To sum it up, this thing is amazing, easy to use, and you will not be disappointed in purchasing it.

PERFECT!
I LOVE this coffee maker! I purchased this in order to stop buying iced lattes at the coffee shop to save some money. It paid for itself very quickly! I love that there are so many options for different sizes and options of drinks. Very easy to use, very easy to clean. We set up our coffee every night and use the delay setting so we wake up with a nice VERY hot pot of coffee all ready for us! Because of the brewing temperature, the coffee tastes so much better! My only small complaints is if you want to pour yourself a cup while it’s brewing you have to slide over the lever to stop the brew and it takes a bit of time to be able to pour a cup. Also the espresso side drips a lot after it’s finished so you either have to wait or clean up afterwards. Also, the “delay” wording is already starting to run off a little after 3 months.Overall, with the money we have saved from not buying coffee everyday, I would say this is a great value for the money and I could’ve be happier with the performance! I’ve always been pleased with any Ninja products I’ve owned!

All – In – One !!!
Yes!!! No more having a bunch of appliances to make a certain type of coffee. Have owned this for a few months and my husband and I are in love of how compatible and great it works. Nesspresso Pods fit perfectly (serving we normally have to push the espresso button twice for a perfect shot) (Lungo option: get a normal mug service a bit bigger then the standard espresso shot) on coffee side works great. Easy to clean and put back together. Temps are all nice I did find single serve coffee side to be not super hot but still works for me. Noise: not too loud I make coffee while my son naps and he doesn’t move a muscle.

Convenance of having a nespresso compatible and regular perked coffee maker in one machine
Easy to use very convenient whether you want perked coffee or espresso. Only disappointing thing no steamed milk capability for cappuccino. The milk whipping attachment does make a decent frothed milk if you put your milk in the microwave first. Both the regular coffee side and espresso make great tasting coffee.

This is a great coffee machine
My family didn’t sleep for 3-5 business days after trying each variety of coffee you can make with this. (Espresso, lungo, iced latte and a regular pot of joe.) it’s nice to have different options to make coffee from 8 oz to 54 oz. Coffee was hot and stayed hot for a while. It is quick to make a full pot and the coffee tastes great. Works great

Ninja!
I want to start off by saying, Thank you to this company for making a coffee pot that last a long time.My first ninja brewer was bought over 5 years ago and it’s still going strong. I have been wanting an espresso & coffee pot for awhile now and I finally gave in with a nespresso machine and when it was delivered I was so excited. Until I went to try it for the first time and it didn’t work. So I had to ship it back. Broken hearted but determined to not give up. I then went back on Amazon and searched again and the first thing that came up was the ninja. Yes! Yes! Yes!I received it today and after I ran it through the clean cycle I started my first cup of coffee! It was done within seconds. I was so excited to watch it heat up and start pouring out. Yes! It works! The coffe is hot and I love how you can adjust it to whatever size cup or pot you want. It has a quick and easy clock set display and you can even delay it for your morning brew. It’s a little expensive, however I know this product last a long time so it’s well worth it. The size of the whole machine is no bigger than your average coffee machine. I would give the ninja 10Stars! *********Thank you and enjoy your first Ninja!

Coffee shop at home
Ninja brew process delivers superior coffee at home. Use your own grounds and save money making coffee house quality coffee at home. Solid built, easy to use, looks good. The nespresso side is awesome. Frother just makes sense. It doesn’t include permanent filter and uses manual filter drip stop and so it could be improved. Still it beats anything similar and rivals more costly expresso machines. You won’t regret this purchase.

Very disappointing.
I purchased this maker for the seemingly magic flexibility of brewing a full pot of coffee, or a quick Nespresso pod. In what is a crystal-clear sign of the times, my partner and I almost exclusively opt for the instant gratification of the Nespresso pod.For the first few months, the product worked precisely as intended. A dazzling array of colorful coffee pods at our fingertips, we consumed enough caffeine daily to kill a family of medieval peasants. However, after a few months in, the medieval lord known as “shoddy production standards” arrived to assert its right to prima nocta. A puddle emerged underneath our coffee maker. At first, we chalked it up to the fact that we typically ran pods in the machine until the catch tray was full (which one would assume to be intended given that the catch tray fits multiple pods, but I digress), and determined to empty the bin after just a few brews, and place a paper towel under the leak for good measure. Our plan of action declared, life seemingly resumed its proper state of affairs. The warm, voluptuous bean-water resumed its daily flow. However, all is typically calm in the eye of the storm. In a few weeks’ time, water was once again seeping out from under the machine, having completely saturated the poor sheet of paper towel that had been pressed into a service that it was altogether incapable of fulfilling. We attempted to make do, emptying the drip tray after every run of the machine, and yet the paper towel pressed into service in relief of its fallen comrade, eventually also succumbed to the torrential downpour with which it was beseiged.Upon further investigation and troubleshooting, we determined that the water responsible for the “Great Kitchen Counter Flood of 2024” was likely flooding from behind the pod, never reaching its intended destination. As it turns out, this is a not-uncommon issue with Nespresso makers, as the diffuser plate, responsible for controlling the flow of coffee (and not grounds) from pod to cup, can get clogged.Attempting to satiate my primal urge to troubleshoot, myself, I set about attempting to disassemble the unit, myself. However, my attempts were initially thwarted by my lack of a safety Torx screwdriver set, and then wholly confounded by the fact that this machine was, apparently, designed by someone who didn’t want us to have nice things. Beyond the innocuous screws, the unit is a labyrinth of clips, wires, and pieces that have apparently been glued together. From an aesthetic perspective, the result is an undoubtedly handsome coffee maker. From a practicality perspective, the unit is basically unworkable. In a final, last ditch effort, I summoned all of my wit, and seeing as that failed almost instantly, I eventually coxed the diffuser plate from its housing using a screw driver, leverage, and good old fashioned brute force. Diffuser plate in hand, I set about cleaning it, and was eventually able to pop it back into place. Placing the screws back into place, I was optimistic that we had reached the dawn of a new day for our coffee maker.Alas, happy endings are only for fairy tales, and they, too, are reserved for children and adults with unsettlingly large gums. Upon resuming regular service, our coffee maker is no different than before I had done anything. It appears that we are not out of the warranty, so there may yet be hope. Unfortunately, Ninja’s warranty policy also insists that I pay them for the privilege of them providing me a properly working coffee maker for longer than a few months’ time, so I am still debating whether I shall take them up on that offer. In short – if you would like to embark on a Hero’s Journey, then by all means, purchase this coffee maker. If you’d prefer a minimally-complicated route to your daily cup of dark jitter elixir, then perhaps you would be better served looking elsewhere.

Amazing!
We purchased this and kicked our nespresso machine to the curb ! this is super user friendly and is so versatile ! my husband likes tradition coffee and i like my cappuccino and now we have a machine that does both and takes off brand pods so we don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on nespresso pods, i love all of the coffee options from travel mugs to half a caraf to a full caraf, we have exactly zero complains about this machine – i love the coffee spoon storage on the side with the measuring for each option and the built in froather that tucks away

I purchased this to replace my other 2in1 coffee machine. However, I can’t compare this is way better. I love that you can do personal coffee sizes (ex: 8oz) up to full carafes of coffee. Also has the nespresso pod, which I absolutely love. It was recommended from a friend and they love it too.

So many features
I love this coffee maker more than I thought I would. It has so many features to personalize your coffee. Several different size choices, brew choices, plus ability to froth milk. The Nespresso option is a nice bonus. It’s a very sleek coffee maker as well. I love the fact that the water comes from a reservoir instead of pouring it over the top. Keeps everything neat. I’m a fan of Ninja products and this one does not disappoint.

Just perfect!
It’s simply much better than I expected. For coffee preparation, it does a pre-filtering and after a few seconds, finishes making the coffee just like baristas do. As for the capsules and the frother for cappuccino, they work wonderfully. Everything is perfectly designed in this machine. A tip: if you live at high altitudes, it’s necessary to calibrate the machine for the altitude. If this is not done, a lot of steam may be generated when making coffee. The instructions can be found in the machine’s manual.

Easy and Great

I’ve been an avid fully automatic espresso user. i pivoted because i realized I only was making americano and wanted just to have a pot of coffee ready for me in the morning. I love the nespresso option as well for just a cup of good espresso. I’m also impressed with the milk frother. I didn’t realize it wasn’t going to be steam (which is obvious now), but it froths REALLY WELL. I use non-dairy milk, and i get lovely foam. I’ve fallen in love with this basic machine that was cheaper and smaller than the high end espresso machines I’ve had.

Makes great hot coffee. The rich button really allows for a darker coffee it allows you to use less grounds. My only complaint is the open close toggle does not work. If you close it mid cycle to get a cup of coffee early, the brewing continues and run out onto the hot plate. I really wish this didn’t happen. See video.

Could be better
The good- the drip coffee prude a good pot. It is narrower than my old Ninja coffee maker that’s lasted for eight years .The cup of espresso, I would rate 7 out of 10 for a pod.The bad- for this price point, it should’ve come with a built-in filter like my old pot did that cost half the price. The coffee maker is to tall the way the grounds go in to put coffee grounds in without pulling out the pot. This is a major design flaw in my opinion on Ninjas part. Also, the watercraft is a little awkward to get out if you don’t pull the unit away from the wall compared to my old model. The way the pod go in is odd. My first few try’s at an espresso were challenge because the pod kept falling through to the waste bin.I am Undecided to keep it or get a newer Version of the old model.

Good but could be better
First: it makes very good espresso. It’s attractive & I’m happy with it BUT, the frother doesn’t warm the cream (espressos aren’t made at an extremely high temperature, so I have to warm my cream in the microwave & I don’t bother blowing cold air into it. Why would anyone do that?) and when using pods, it’s not very “smart”. It will dispense water even if you haven’t put a new pod in (Kuerigs won’t do that). So, for the price, those 2 things should be corrected.

Love my Ninja!
Great coffee maker. Returned the Breville coffee maker and got this. The Breville did a good job but I didn’t feel it was worth the price. This Ninja makes a great pot of coffee. Very hot. The Nespresso maker works great as does the frother. I love this coffee maker. The only cons after using for several months: the carafe hot plate… You can set it to go on and for how long to stay on… But, I haven’t figured out how to turn it off once the carafe is empty. I can turn it off via the menu but then have to reset it to go on the next time. I just want to push a button to turn it off once the carafe is empty to save electricity and keep from burning the bottom of the carafe. For now I have it set to stay on 30 minutes.I’m not crazy about the screw on top of the carafe. Sometimes it goes on easy, other times I struggle to get it straightened to screw on. Not a big deal, just annoying. I’d love a good thermo metal carafe to keep the coffee hot without using the hot plate.Other than the couple cons, this is a well thought out machine. Compact with lots of features. Highly recommend!

Pot coffee isn’t very hot
1) the espresso portion: works well. It takes Nespresso pods which are harder to find, my local stores all carry K cups.2) my primary complaint is that is doesn’t make hot coffee. If you drink it straight out of the pot (after adding a little creamer) it needs to be microwaved right away to warm it up more. There is a hot plate under the pot, but it takes a while to warm up. So… either need to MW it or make it In advance of drinking and let it sit on the heating pad for a bit. It takes more coffee grounds than I used in my old coffee maker for the same size pot. Likely related to the water being less hot…..

Loved it until it wouldn’t make coffee.
I loved the coffee pot in general, the regular or strong roast option and the espresso side. Truly loved it. I purchased this back in March of 2023, used it yesterday and worked fine. Today nothing. I keep getting “add water” and the container is full. I regularly clean my parts and once again did the whole thing by hand hoping it was not an internal issue. It won’t do anything for the cleaning option. The timer starts but no water goes through the coffee maker. Take the container off and push in the mechanism on the bottom, water comes out great. Really disappointed since it’s a $200 coffee pot to not even last a year in half. Hate to leave a bad review but truly disappointed in the life of ninja we received.

Really nice coffee maker, pretty good espresso?
Purchased this as a birthday gift for my S/O. She had shown it to me prior, and I like the Ninja brand. After doing some research, I pulled the trigger and I don’t regret it. Obviously, I didn’t do enough research because I was under the impression that it used Keurig pods – it does NOT. I’m sure it says that somewhere in the product description, but the single-cup brew options with loose coffee and the reusable filter (purchased separately) are awesome. I really like being able to change the brew strength and use whatever amount of grounds I want. It’s nice not to be generating a bunch of pod-trash all the time. Obviously, there is still some on the espresso side. It uses the original Nespresso pod design (not the “bubble” design they have currently) and I haven’t used the espresso side yet but my old lady enjoys it. The built-in milk frother is a cool idea, but according to her doesn’t have a whole lot of power so she bought a different one to use. All the other features are great (the built in dual-size scoop and the fold-down cup tray on the coffee side). It’s easy to clean up, and makes a solid pot of coffee pretty quick. Also, it was a bit smaller than I expected, so that’s a plus.

I would have given it 100% but there are 2 issues I have. #1 the white letter labels after of just 3 uses have started to rub off! Pretty soon I’m not going to know what button does what. #2 the coffee holder for the expresso is too small. For normal cups you need to hold it while it’s brewing otherwise it will fall. Overall we like it. I wish these 2 items were fixed to give it 5 stars.

Another great Ninja product.
I love this coffee machine. I had been looking at various ones for quite some time and could not decide. This coffee machine not only makes great coffee, but has every feature that I could want on a coffee machine. You can select the number of ounces the strength, and even time delayed start. It makes great espresso, especially the longa! The only downside to this is that the lettering on the front is already wearing off and I am not sure why. I have never used anything but a damp soft cloth to wipe it down. Other than that, it is a great buy, and would recommend it to any coffee lover.

Nice Machine
I’ve used both the drip and the Nespresso pod in the machine, and used the delayed brew. No issues at all. Everything works as expected. It took me a little time to figure how much coffee to use for the taste I prefer. But I assume that’s normal with most new coffee makers. If you’re looking for a strong frothier though, this may not be it. It seems a little less powerful, though it did work. I don’t froth milk often, so it’s not a deal-breaker for me, and maybe I just have a different expectation.
